Ballıçubuk

In Antalya, a city of tourism and agriculture, we realized the need for — and longing for — natural products back in 2017. As interest grew in carob, which is widely found and cultivated in our region and has an average annual export volume of around 300 tons, we at Ballıçubuk made it our principle to help people meet their needs by producing natural, organic, and healthy products from this plant.

Following research and analyses reflected in workload reports, it became clear that the first product to produce and consume from the carob plant should be molasses — the first thing that comes to mind when carob is mentioned. Our production facilities were established and designed in line with the experience and guidance of our elders, often referred to as the old generation, who best know the traditional, natural methods of making this centuries-old healing plant, as well as the recommendations of masters who have become specialists in this field.

Expanding Product Range

No additives or chemicals harmful to human health were to be used in our molasses. Ballıçubuk was founded in early 2018, and prototype molasses production began. We first tested the molasses ourselves, with our family and friends, and with the elders from whom we sought advice and feedback. Receiving top marks for its exquisite taste and aroma, we started full-scale production of our molasses (carob and juniper/andız), and our first natural product met its customers.

Afterwards, our company, which also continued its activities in the honey sector, launched 100% natural carob and highland honey in 2020. In 2021, we expanded our product range with hazelnut and pistachio spreads. Today, we strive to meet the demands of our customers in major cities, especially Istanbul and Ankara. Ballıçubuk, which has also earned top marks from its customers, is grateful to everyone who has supported us. We continue uninterrupted production of molasses, honey, hazelnut spread, and pistachio spread, and we are also continuing R&D efforts for other products on our list.

While the fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues at full speed in our country as it does worldwide, our primary goal is to offer our customers quality, affordable, and organic products and to meet their expectations during times when we need healthy, organic, and natural products the most. In this globalizing and constantly renewing world, our company continues to produce and offer products that help support the immune system in a natural setting. With its updated website, Ballıçubuk continues its activities in the production, supply, and sale of products obtained from natural fruits such as carob and juniper (andız).
