Cinnamon, ginger and vanilla complete the taste with a warm and balanced finish. Carob Red Smoothie is easy to prepare for breakfast, snack time or whenever you want a light and refreshing homemade drink. You can make it with almond milk for a lighter texture, or use oat milk, coconut milk or regular milk according to your preference.

Ingredients for Carob Red Smoothie

Serves 2*

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup strawberries
1/4 cup dark red cherries or sour cherries
1/4 cup pink dragon fruit
1/4 cup banana
1/8 cup cranberries or mixed red berries
1 tablespoon BallıÇubuk carob syrup or carob molasses
1 tablespoon fresh ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon natural vanilla
Optional: a few ice cubes
A little cinnamon or BallıÇubuk carob powder for topping

Preparation

Wash the strawberries, cherries, cranberries and other fruits well.

If using cherries or sour cherries, remove the pits.

Add the almond milk to the blender.

Add the strawberries, dark red cherries or sour cherries, pink dragon fruit, banana and cranberries.

Add the BallıÇubuk carob syrup, fresh ginger, cinnamon and vanilla.

Blend until smooth and creamy.

If the texture is too thick, add a little more almond milk.

For a colder and thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again briefly.

Pour the smoothie into serving glasses.

Dust with a little cinnamon or BallıÇubuk carob powder before serving.

Serve immediately for the freshest taste.

Recipe Notes

This recipe contains no refined sugar. Its sweetness comes from the fruits and BallıÇubuk carob syrup.

If you do not want to use pink dragon fruit, you can replace it with extra strawberries, sour cherries or mixed red berries.

For a thicker texture, use frozen banana or frozen strawberries.

You can use oat milk, coconut milk or regular milk instead of almond milk.

If the fresh ginger flavor feels too strong, reduce the amount.

When preparing this smoothie for children, you can reduce or remove the ginger.

For a sweeter smoothie, add a little more BallıÇubuk carob syrup.

Before serving, you can top it with carob powder, cinnamon, shredded coconut or chopped fruit.
